Recap は、他のアプリで打った文章をあとから呼び戻せるようにする macOS のメニューバー常駐ツールです。本ポリシーは、Recap が扱うデータの種類と取り扱い方法を説明します。
Recap にはクラウド同期がありません。捕捉した文章はすべて、あなたの Mac の中だけに保存されます。
Recap は macOS の Accessibility 権限を使って、他のアプリの入力欄に打った文章を静かに捕捉し、あとから検索・呼び戻しできるようにします。捕捉した文章は暗号化された状態で あなたの Mac の中だけ に保存され、外部に送信されることは一切ありません。
ブラウザがパスワード欄と判定した入力欄や、セキュアな入力モードの間は、意図的にキー入力を読み取りません（fail-safe設計）。捕捉を止めたいアプリ・サイトは、アプリ内の設定から除外できます。
保存期間・除外したいアプリ/サイトのリストなどの設定は、端末内にのみ保存されます。
現時点のビルドでは、利用状況の分析やクラッシュレポートの送信は行っていません（コード内には将来のオプトイン機能として無効化された仕組みが用意されていますが、現在は動作しておらず、何も送信されません）。
Pro版の購入は、決済代行会社（Merchant of Record）である Paddle のチェックアウトページ（既定のブラウザで開きます）で行います。カード番号等の決済情報は Paddle が直接処理し、Recap や開発者のサーバーには一切渡りません。購入完了後に発行されるライセンスキーのみを Recap に入力し、Recap は暗号署名（Ed25519）を使って端末内でオフライン検証します。本アプリの決済導線は現在テスト環境（Sandbox）で稼働しており、実際の課金が本番で有効になるのは今後の対応後です。本番稼働後も、決済情報自体は引き続き Paddle が処理し、Recap や開発者のサーバーが保持することはありません。

Recap を Mac から削除すると、捕捉したすべての文章・設定は端末とともに消去されます（クラウド上にコピーが残ることはありません）。個別の削除はアプリ内の操作からいつでも行えます。
本ポリシーは、機能追加や実装変更に応じて改定することがあります。特に、分析機能や購入導線が本番で有効化された際は本ページを更新します。重要な変更がある場合はこのページ上でお知らせします。

Recap is a macOS menu bar utility that lets you recall text you typed in other apps. This policy explains what data Recap handles and how.
Recap has no cloud sync. Everything it captures stays on your Mac.
Recap uses the macOS Accessibility permission to quietly capture text you type into other apps' input fields, so you can search and recall it later. Captured text is stored encrypted, only on your Mac, and is never transmitted anywhere.
Recap deliberately does not read keystrokes in fields the browser marks as password fields, or while secure input mode is active (a fail-safe design). You can exclude specific apps or sites from capture in the app's settings.
Settings such as retention period and your list of excluded apps/sites are stored only on your device.
The current build does not send usage analytics or crash reports. The code contains a dormant, currently-disabled scaffold for a future opt-in analytics feature, but nothing is transmitted today.
Pro purchases are handled by Paddle, our Merchant of Record, via a checkout page that opens in your default browser. Card details and other payment information are processed directly by Paddle and never reach Recap or our servers. After purchase, you enter only a license key into Recap, which is verified offline on your device using a cryptographic signature (Ed25519). Our Paddle checkout is currently running in a test (Sandbox) environment; live purchases will only be enabled once this is completed. Even once live, payment information itself continues to be processed by Paddle and is never held by Recap or our servers.

Uninstalling Recap removes all captured text and settings along with the app (there is no cloud copy). You can also delete individual entries at any time from within the app.
This policy may be revised as features or implementation change, in particular once analytics or live purchasing are enabled. Material changes will be announced on this page.
